This project will draw designs like the picture to the left using
laser light. |
1. Laser - laser pointer.
2 . Two first surface mirrors - bought from ,
http://www.firstsurfacemirrors.com/ : 1 - 4" x 2" cut to make
1- 2" x 2".
3. Two motors - liner like motors from computer hard drive
arm control.
4. Computer interface - Computer audio out to RCA
connector to connect to amplifier.

| Step 1: | Strip hard drive down to just the read arm assembly. | ||
| Step 2: | Glue mirror to it. I used pill bottles to hold mirror upright while epoxy dried. |

| Step 3: | Mount one hard drive perpendicular to the other. |

| Step 4: | Wire audio out from computer to amplifier. wire the left speaker out from amp. to one of the hard drive motors and the right speaker out from amp. to the other hard drive. Play the audio file from below. |

| Step 5: | Create stereo audio waveform or download one I made from
below: I used GoldWave to create .wav file. |
