Basic Trigonometry

Pythagorean Theorem.

Z = sqr( X^2 + Y^2 )
X = sqr( Z^2 - Y^2 )
Y = sqr( Z^2 - X^2 )

Use the Pythagorean theorem if you have a right triangle and you know the lengths of two sides and want to know the length of the third side.
