Original design
6 - 37" x 1/2" PVC tubing OD = 5/8"
Material purchased was 54" wide

Cut material 54" square.

Note:
Material diagonal length must be shorter than the end points of spars to allow room to stretch material tautly.

Down sizing kite size to 50" diagonal:
(50" top end - bottom end)
SQR(50^2/2)+2*1.5 = 38.355
Cut material to 38" square.
